Location of loss : on August 12, 2023 the backpack may have been lost in malibu on carbon beach or near malibu pier; more likely it was left at the "comfort inn santa monica west los angeles" hotel where we stayed from 10 to 13 august 2023 or at the "courtyard" hotel in palm desert (where we slept on 8/13/23) or at the hotel " holiday inn express&suites" in Williams(arizona)(August 14, 2023) or at the "best western plus at lake powell" hotel in Page(August 15)or at the "hampton inn & suites las vegas convention center" hotel(August 17 and 18 )or at the "hampton inn&suites tulare" hotel in Tulare (August 19) or at the "best western san marcos inn" hotel in Morro Bay (August 20) or at the "travelodge by wyndham monterey bay" hotel in Monterey (August 22 ) or at the hotel "Handlery union square san francisco" (August 23-27, 2023)
it may also have fallen out of the trunk of the car while traveling between these locations
