Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN), officially named Konrad Adenauer Airport after Germany’s first post-war Chancellor, serves Cologne, Bonn, and the wider Rhine region of western Germany. Located approximately 14 kilometers southeast of Cologne city centre and 20 kilometers north of Bonn, the airport handles over 10 million passengers annually. CGN is one of the few airports in Germany that maintains 24-hour flight operations, primarily due to the presence of DHL’s major European air hub.
