Description of lost item(s) : It is a small black suitcase, there is not much else to describe it besides that.

It was checked to go through from Madrid to Portugal to Newark. So it will have a tag on the handles

EWR TP 201 07 JAN 12:05 (Flight I missed)

LIS TP 1011 07 JAN 10:20 (Flight to Portugal from Madrid that I made)
Color : Black suitcase.


Material : It’s hard cased.

Location of loss : Firstly, I had a Tap Air Portugal flight from Madrid to Newark.

With a layover in Portugal. The layover was short, so I missed my connecting flight. I went to TapAir customer service and was told I was able to transfer my flight to the next available one to Newark at 6:45. I did so, and they told me since I was flying with the same airline, I didn’t have to go to the lost and found and that’ll it just be in Newark when I land. So I went through tsa again and passport control to make it for my next flight to Newark. When I landed it did not come out the belt and I checked my tracking on the suitcase with my airpods and noticed it was left in Portugal.

Before I left Madrid they gave me a checked ticket for my luggage. I am going to copy and paste everything on it
