Lost item(s) : Silver HP OmniBook 7 laptop in an overhead locker on Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong airport (Hong Kong) to Sydney airport (Australia)

Description of lost item(s) : HP Omnibook 7 laptop 14" screen left on the CX161 Hong Kong to Sydney flight 15 Sep.
I was in seat number 73H and had stored my laptop in the seat pocket in front of me. However, the steward said I couldn't have it there during take-off and moved it to a random overhead locker (the middle aisle one row further on – the overhead locker on my row being full).
On landing I neglected to pick up the laptop, removing only my overhead locker bag.
I have been informed by dnata baggage services at Sydney Airport that the item cannot be located with them.
I was therefore wondering whether the missing item might have been found and stored by an air steward or the cleaners?

Location of loss : The overhead locker of row 72 of the middle aisle of flight CX161 (a row ahead of my row 73 – my seat number was 73H).
