Lost item(s) : Small brown folder containing credit cards & a US passport in Air Canada check in area of Las Vegas airport (USA)

Lost item

Description of lost item(s) : I had a folder with both my US and Canada passports in pockets inside the folder. When I boarded a flight in LAS on Dec 24 I took out my Canada passport to board the flight, and negligently left the folder with my US passport and a couple of credit cards and my immunity records on the check in counter. I did not know I had done that until I came to return to the US.
I was told at the AC check in desk in LAS that the passport and folder would have been sent to Montreal by the time I got to report it missing.
If needed, I have a picture of the passport for identification.

Location of loss : It would have been found in the check in area for Air Canada in LAS
City : Las Vegas
