Description of lost item(s) : This is a small brown plush dog mascot. It originally came with a ball chain, though it may have become detached. It is the brown one shown in the images at the following URL.

Location of loss : It seems I lost it sometime after 10:00 AM on July 4th, either at the Rialto Bridge or somewhere else on the island. Since the dog mascot appears in a photo taken at the Rialto Bridge at 9:50 AM, I likely dropped it while walking around the city after that time. My route included St. Mark's Basilica, St. Mark's Square, and the area stretching from Campo San Zaccaria to the gondola boarding point. I also took a gondola ride (on a route passing under the Bridge of Sighs); while I don't recall the exact path I took, I had lunch at Beppino Ristorante Pizzeria and stopped by "Il Grifone" and "Hotel Principe." Afterward, I left Venice from Santa Lucia Station.
