Description of lost item(s) : Washington drivers license and ID cards for me and my wife. Last time we saw them was when we were getting boarding passes & going thru security check at Honolulu airport. There were some real screwups with our planned flight. Earlier in the day I called Alaska Airlines to confirm our 10 pm flight. They assured me that everything was in order. We arrived before 8 PM and Alaska Airlines was closed for the night. After much runaround we were informed our flight was Hawaiian Air, but we had no idea where that was and we had no boarding passes because we expected to get them from a Alaska Air. We were being directed in all directions when a nice TSA employee took us under tow and we walked about 1/4 mile to Hawaiian Air. There he walked us through getting boarding passes and passing security. He then turned us over to a helper for the trip to the gate.
At that time all looked good. But when we got to SEA our wheelchair was not there. Caught an airport wheelchair to baggage. When the wheel stopped turning my wife’s wheelchair wasn’t there….Then the guy with the airport wheelchair pushed us to lost and found where large baggage was dropped off.

Explained the whole fiasco to the lady there……she made some calls and located the wheelchair back up at the gate where it was supposed to have been when we go off the plane. No one could bring it to lost and found because they were all busy……After several minutes. (WE USE A SHUTTLE 40 MILES TO GET HOME AND HAD ALREADY MISSED 2 TRIPS WHILE WE WAITED FOR THE CHAIR….THEY ONLY RUN ONCE EACH HOUR.) The lady at lost and found decided to go get it herself……never saw her again. Another lady took her place and I had to repeat everything to her…While waiting for her….I walked back down to the baggage area again. There was a young man pushing my wife’s wheelchair in big circles while he was talking on the phone. I walked up to hear him discussing what he and a friend were planning for later that day. I took the chair and went back to where my wife was still waiting with the airport pusher still hanging on. He too was tired of this mess. We put my wife in her chair and made a mad dash just in time to catch the leaving shuttle. Didn’t miss my Drivers License or ID cards until I got home. They had passed thru so many hands I had no idea where they might be.
