What to Do If You’ve Lost Something with Air Peace
Contact Air Peace Baggage Services as soon as you notice the loss. Have your flight number, travel date, seat number, and booking reference ready. The team operates out of Lagos and can coordinate with staff at other Nigerian airports as well as international stations.

Items Lost on Board vs. at the Airport
Items left in the Air Peace cabin should be reported to the airline directly. Items lost in the terminal at Murtala Muhammed International Airport or at another Nigerian airport should be reported to that airport’s lost property team. For losses at international destinations, contact the relevant airport’s own service.
Tips to Efficiently Report a Lost Item
- Contact Air Peace as soon as possible, especially on busy domestic routes where aircraft are turned around quickly
- Have your booking reference, seat, and flight number ready when you call or contact the baggage team
- Describe the item clearly, including brand, colour, model, and estimated value
- For items lost at Lagos international terminal, contact the airport’s lost property office as a secondary step
- Follow up regularly if you do not receive confirmation of a search being initiated

Air Peace’s baggage team can be reached by phone during weekday business hours. For losses discovered outside of those hours, report via the website or platform and the team will follow up when the office opens. Early contact maximises the chance of recovery before items are moved to storage.
