If your item was lost in the public areas, security checkpoints, shops, restaurants, or gate areas of Brisbane Airport, contact the airport’s Lost Property Office.

Items lost onboard the plane
For personal belongings left onboard during the flight, you should contact your airline’s lost property service directly. After passengers disembark, planes are cleaned and swept for lost items. The airport Lost Property Office does not manage items left on aircraft.

Given the weekday-only office hours, report losses as soon as possible during operating times. Items lost on Friday evening through Sunday must wait until Monday to be reported.
Where to Claim Your Lost Property
If your item is found, you will be contacted with instructions on how to retrieve it. You’ll need valid ID. Visit the Visitors Information Desk on Level 2 during operating hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). For travelers who have already left Brisbane or Australia, courier delivery may be arranged (fees apply).
Lost Luggage or Item Left on the Plane ?
If you’ve lost your checked baggage or left something on the aircraft, this must be handled directly through your airline or their ground handling service. The airport Lost Property Office does not manage items left onboard or issues with checked luggage. Airline baggage service counters are located in the arrivals areas of both terminals.
