I would like to report the loss or possible theft of my pouch, which occurred at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius, on 10 July, before boarding my Air France flight AF0473, on which I was seated in seat 11L.

On 10 July, I was waiting for my flight at Gate 26. Between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., I left Gate 26 to proceed to Gate 28, where boarding for flight AF0473 was scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m.

Before leaving Gate 26, I was working on my laptop on a music project. To the best of my recollection, I was the only passenger using a laptop at that time. Around 9:00 a.m., I packed away my laptop and its cables. I clearly remember placing the cables inside my orange Lacoste pouch, but I believe I may have accidentally left the pouch near my seat before leaving Gate 26.

I then walked toward Gate 28, passing by Burger King, and stopped for a few minutes at L'Escale Mauricienne, the café located near Gate 28, before boarding flight AF0473.

At the time, I was wearing:

a black T-shirt;
black trousers;
a pair of white sneakers;
carrying a backpack and a white plastic bag.
The missing item is an orange Lacoste pouch containing:
a MacBook Pro charger;
a 1 TB white SUNEAST external hard drive containing the video footage of a highly important professional project.
Based on my recollection, the loss or theft most likely occurred between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., either near Gate 26, along the route between Gates 26 and 28, or near L'Escale Mauricienne.
I would also like to mention that, at the time, Gate 26 was being used for a flight departing to Johannesburg. If my pouch was left near the boarding area, it is possible that it was picked up by airport staff or inadvertently taken onto that flight. I would therefore be grateful if this possibility could also be considered during your investigation.

I respectfully request that the CCTV footage covering the following areas be reviewed:

Gate 26;
the route between Gates 26 and 28;
the area around Burger King;
the area surrounding L'Escale Mauricienne and Gate 28.
Reviewing these recordings may help determine whether I accidentally left my pouch behind, whether it was collected by airport staff, or whether it was taken by another individual. The footage may also help retrace my movements and identify the exact moment when I was no longer in possession of the pouch.
I remain at your full disposal to provide any additional information that may assist with your investigation.

Thank you very much for your attention to this report and for any assistance you may be able to provide in helping recover my pouch and its contents, which are of considerable professional importance.
