About Precision Air

Precision Air (PW) is Tanzania’s largest privately owned airline, founded in 1993 and headquartered at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. The airline operates a network of domestic Tanzanian routes connecting Dar es Salaam with Kilimanjaro International Airport, Zanzibar, Mwanza, Mbeya, Tabora, and other Tanzanian cities. Precision Air also operates international routes to Nairobi in Kenya and Entebbe in Uganda. The airline flies a fleet of ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprop aircraft.

Precision Air plays a vital role in connecting Tanzania’s major tourism destinations, including the gateway airports for the Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar. Many of its passengers are tourists making onward connections to safari camps and beach resorts after arriving at Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam. What to Do If You’ve Lost Something with Precision Air

Items Lost on Board vs. at the Airport

Items left on the Precision Air aircraft should be reported to the airline. Items lost at Julius Nyerere International Airport or at another Tanzanian airport should be directed to those airports’ own lost property teams. For losses at Kilimanjaro or Zanzibar, contact Precision Air as well as the local airport facility.

Can You Recover Your Item After Your Flight ?
